a very well made teaser, could have been shorter and less repetative but nevertheless,very good. i am sure a lot of time,effort and planning went into it…The concept of the docu is very interesting and unique.I am very curious to know what comes of this experiment of yours

Muy interesante. El teaser de presentación engancha, y está realmente filmado con ritmo e intensidad, pese a lo ensayístico de la propuesta.

Pero por favorrrrr, sin ponerse transcendente, que este documental se ríe precisamente de eso. Que nadie se ofenda. Intento hacer algo sencillo dentro de lo complicado y pretencioso de la idea.

Quiero que sea un docu para todo tipo de público. No solo para los que estamos más o menos metidos en ficción o similaresss. Que creo que algunos comentarios espantan más que otra cosa. Y aclarar que todavía no hemos hecho ni el huevo, tan solo hemos empezado.

Os iré comentando las nuevas que vayan saliendo.

Creo que ya te había comentado pero tiene buena pinta y aunque como bien dices quieres hacer algo sencillo dentro de lo complicado…. se te acabará escapando de las manos y te será dificil parar.

El trailer promete… es genuino, lleno de vida, me han entrado muchas ganas de seguir la historia…Se aprecia mucho trabajo detr’as.
Me ha sorprendido la cantidad de escenarios que has incluido, mostrando diferencias en el mismo pa’is, tengo mucha curiosidad por la version India del corto, como entenderan ellos al Principito, el Zorro, etc, de que manera van a contar la historia… Y que valores van a destacar ellos. Asi que te deseo lo mejor para este viaje y sigue adelante con la misma energ’ia. Mucho Animo!!!

I will try to answer your questions now.

1.- What story did you pick?

I have chosen for the adaptation a chapter of “Le petite prince” (The little prince) of the French writer Antoine de Sant-Exúpery. Yes, I consider that it´s culturally neutral. And I´m pretty sure that if you read it you will find it in the same way. Probably is not as famous in the eastern countries than in the western countries but if any human being read it without knowing who is the writer I´m sure it would be difficult to guess which is the nationality of the writer, even if he is from the Western or from the Eastern Countries. This was the first requirement to be honest with this narrative experiment.

2.- Why did u choose these three countries (India, Peru and Basque Country)?

Like you can guess, it was no easy to choose this or that Country. To be honest the logistic (the possibilities of production) was important in this matter. But, anyway, the first requirement was that they had to be from totally different cultures, and if they were from different continents much better. Our first choice was India, because its different way of story telling even inside the Eastern countries, then we wanted a South American Country because they are quite different from the western influence (thinking more in cinema than in any other thing) that finally was Peru, and the last one a Western Country, Basque Country, not only representing itself but probably representing the western narrative influence.
